Going from trying to solve your own diagnosis to building the actual financial machinery to fix the system is such an incredible arc. We talk so much about the gaps, but having knowledgeable allocators step in with real portfolio frameworks is how things actually change. Thrilled to see this come to life! <3

Hi Maryann! I loved this.

The latest systematic review of GLP-1 receptor agonists in PMOS (European Journal of Endocrinology, 2026) found 11 randomised trials with 19 to 80 women in each. The BMI finding was rated low certainty. With a market projected to exceed $600 billion by 2030 (your PwC figure), that thinness turns fragmentation into a scientific problem as well as a capital one! I'd love to know how funds weigh trial quality when the literature is this sparse?

I love that you are doing this! I am sitting on the other end of the spectrum, investing in individual companies. I think we need both. Because as a founder who hasn't had institutional investment, there are a lot of companies that don't fit that mold. I want to be the patient capital that seeks out problems I understand and want to support. Even if they aren't VC backed. Everyone is so needed at the table!
